Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) Common Handheld Overview
The MCH system supports close air support, artillery, and Naval surface fire support missions while providing integrated, on-the-move, secure, and timely Command & Control/ Situational Awareness (C2/SA) to MAGTF commanders. In addition, it provides a secure, mobile computing platform which enables the USMC to deploy tactical applications to support C2/SA, fire, and maneuver capabilities and is interoperable with Joint Battle Command – Platform, Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System, Joint Tactical Common Operational Picture Workstation, and the Target Handoff System.

The MCH System allows the warfighter to quickly acquire targets in day, night, and near all-weather visibility conditions; and control close air support (CAS) and artillery and naval surface fire support missions. The MCH System serves as a digital information processing and display system that provides integrated, on-the-move secure, timely, and relevant C2/SA information to tactical combat, combat support and combat service support commanders, leaders, and key C2 nodes using digital communications.
Combat Data Network (CDN) Small Form Factor (SFF) Overview
The United States Marines Corps (USMC) Combat Data Network (CDN) Small Form Factor (SFF) program integrates Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) software and hardware into deployable, modular, environmentally resilient, scalable suite of computer network equipment. It provides functionality similar to the USMC garrison Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities to tactical locations to accomplish the timely exchange of information between deployed and garrison USMC headquarters and main operating locations while facilitating liaison and coordination with regional combat commands, Services, Department of Defense (DoD), and national agencies on USMC operational support.

TACP-MCS Block 2 is installed on an M1165 HMMMV. Integrated on the vehicle are four voice/data communication channels, video, computing, and display devices. TACPs are provided with voice and net ready, digital data communications using off-the-shelf hardware fielded communications waveforms, and approved joint digitally-aided close air support standards. These capabilities must plan, request, coordinate, and conduct terminal attack control of strike aircraft executing joint close air support (CAS) missions while the TACPs are operating at the halt (ATH) or on the move (OTM) from armored vehicles to support Army ground force maneuver operations.

TACP-MCS Block 2 capitalizes on making smart, low-risk design choices that improve system capability and JTAC performance. iGov’s solution replaces the existing Voice Communications Package (VCP) and Delta Kit (VDK) with a Block 2 system that uses Block 1 common radios, antennas, amplifiers, mounts, modems, software, video receivers, and navigational hardware.

TACP-MCS Block 1 is based on a system deployed with ANG TACP units. Integrated with the CASS 1.4.4 and with advanced intercom’s point-to-multipoint serial routing, MCS does not require new software development or external components for “full radio control”. The ergonomic layout minimizes equipment volume in the M1145 operator compartment and maximizes volume/space for TACP missions, operator visibility, and emergency egress.
Department of Homeland Security (DHS) FirstSource II Overview
iGov creates customized solutions for our DHS customers through FirstSource II, improving functionality and communications for different DHS components. We developed a deployable metropolitan area wireless network that carries audio and video traffic for use during national events. We provided the project management, design, engineering, integration, installation, and training for this project.
