Contract Scope:

The Tactical Local Area Network (TACLAN) is a modular, scalable family of computer network equipment and workstations that provides the tactical equivalent of USSOCOM Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence Automated System (C4IAS) and Special Operations Command Research, Analysis and Threat Evaluation System (SOCRATES) networks. The TACLAN Family of Systems (FoS) currently includes the TACLAN Suite (Full and C2), Mission Planning Kit (MPK), Field Computing Device (FCD), Coalition Local Area Network (C-LAN), Radio over Internet Protocol (RoIP) Kit, and the Full Motion Video (FMV) Distribution Hub-Lite (VDH-Lite) Kit. The TACLAN contract provides for acquisition of all components necessary for fabrication and production of the TACLAN FoS. It also provides for integration of the software baseline and baseline updates in addition to full logistics and sustainment support over the life of the contract.
